On 22 November 2022, The First Workshop of newly opened Department, Physiotherapy Department at Tishk International University was organized. The workshop aimed to shed light on Physiotherapy Department and to remind the attendees of International Radiology Day. Moreover, the workshop has highlighted the basics of radiology of various medical situations, and diagnosis of them.
In the workshop, more than 80 participants attended from different Departments, and two Presenters shared their experience with the audience. Dr. Idris Garges from Hawler Medical University presented the First Session in which he talked about the role of MRI in Pubis Symphysis in Athletes. In the Second Session, Dr. Salah Mohammed introduced the MRI and CT in Stroke Patients and details about diagnosis.
The Workshop objectives were.
- Improve audience information about Physiotherapy
- Introduce the relations between the Radiology and Physiotherapy
- The role of radiology in diagnosis of medical situations and diseases
- Giving general information about Radiology and its effects to the daily life of people.
- Improve the relations between Tishk International University with other Universities.
The Physiotherapy Department is planning to hold other National and International Workshops to establish collaborations with other Academic Universities, both public and private, where sharing different ideas and experiences results in better diagnosis for better health of people.
